Dear colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to announce 13^th World and 34^th European Congress of Microcirculation which are to be held in Prague, Czech Republic in May 2027 (best weather season). If you visited previous Congresses of Microcirculation in Aarhus (2023), Beijing (2024) or Szeged (2025) you certainly know that it is worthwhile to join these meetings to get knowledge about recent scientific achievements, to obtain the view regarding clinical approaching, but also regarding warm socializing events. As you know, microcirculation is becoming more and more important part in the medical care not only in vascular disease but also in oncology, diabetology, ophthalmology and other important branches of medicine. Moreover, basic and clinical sciences in this area are expanding and developing at breathtaking pace, covering many specialties and it is worthwhile to keep the pace with these developments. Therefore, despite outstanding experience with previous meetings of our Societies, let us highlight several main points, why the meeting in Prague in 2027 will be really an exceptional one.

1. For the first time two meetings are to be held together. The interesting topics regarding micro and microcirculation will be addressed at literally global level. It means that there is unique possibility to meet colleagues from all over the world and to recognize their achievements.
2. At these particular meetings we will stress also the interplay between macrovascular disease and microvascular disease. It means that it will enable clinical physicians to get more/additional knowledge in microcirculatory disorders, and, vice versa, for scientists to get more information of the impact of their work in clinical fields. As you can see in the preliminary program, it was created to offer possibility to fulfill these ambitions and also to facilitate more clinically oriented colleagues to be important part of the Congress at their most convenience (weekend program focused on clinical topics). In particular, transformation of the basic science to offices of vascular specialist of different areas of medicine is one of the main aims of our Congress to be addressed.  In conclusion, we will do our best to prepare attractive program in attractive area including plenary sessions and lectures, workshops, hands on workshops, oral poster sessions. Please, see preliminary topics.
3. In addition, our goal is to attract also the attention of other Societies, both local (from the Czech Republic) but also at the international level which are operating in similar areas.   
4. Moreover, in addition to experienced and outstanding specialists and speakers from all abovementioned fields of diseases and countries, our goal is also to offer younger colleagues to present their results in oral form in friendly circumstances and to introduce their achievements at the international level.
5. Last but not least Prague is one of the most beautiful world towns regarding history, safety, and is easy destination to be reached from the whole world.  We also did our best to create attractive social program for all of our guests and in general to make their stay as pleasant and as rewarding as possible. In this respect, we would like also to offer help from our students for those who will be for the first time in Prague with orientation around Congress area.
